Today, they parade themselves as defenders of the people, using falsehoods and crocodile tears to win sympathy,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOur people in the North are wise enough to fall for such deceit.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The minister urged unity behind Tinubu\u2019s leadership, particularly in combating insecurity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe must be part of the solution, not the problem.
