Interior Minister Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo made the announcement through a statement issued by Permanent Secretary Dr. Magdalene Ajani. The Minister extended warm congratulations to Muslim faithful both in Nigeria and abroad for this significant religious occasion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“I call on the Muslim Ummah to continue to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice and faith as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (Peace be upon Him),” Tunji-Ojo stated, urging citizens to “use the period to pray for a peaceful and prosperous Nigeria.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
