Maryam\u2019s victory is also the first for a female in the category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reacting to the feat, Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Yahaya, congratulated Maryam, describing her achievement as a landmark for the state, the Muslim community, and Nigeria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis feat brought immense pride to Gombe and Nigeria,\u201d the governor said in a statement signed by the Director-General, Press Affairs, Ismaila Misilli.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Governor Yahaya noted that Maryam\u2019s accomplishment reflected the value of discipline, dedication, and commitment to learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI am deeply proud of our daughter\u2019s exceptional performance on the international stage.
