The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Transportation Daura, Professor Umar Adam Katsayal, has lauded the China Railway Signal and Communication (CRSC) International Company for organizing a 14-day comprehensive training program on Rail Transit Intelligent Control System.
Professor Katsayal made this remark at the closing ceremony of the International Seminar on Rail Transit Intelligent Control System for Nigeria, held in China. He expressed gratitude to CRSC for inviting Nigerian stakeholders to participate in the seminar, describing it as a valuable opportunity for knowledge sharing and networking.
“We are now better informed about the rail transit intelligent control system and the rail transport system in general,” Professor Katsayal said. “The lectures and practical sessions have provided us with a deeper understanding of China’s modernization, technological advancement, and rich culture.”
He commended the organizing committee for their excellent work and hospitality, wishing participants a safe journey back home. The seminar, he noted, has been a great learning experience, with visits to Beijing, Shanghai, and Suzhou providing valuable insights into China’s rail transit system.
Professor Katsayal expressed confidence that participants would apply the knowledge gained to contribute to Nigeria’s rail transport development.
