In a defiant national address, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei proclaimed decisive victories over both Israel and the United States while vowing Tehran would never surrender to Western demands. The speech, delivered to the Iranian people, described recent military confrontations as historic triumphs for the Islamic Republic.
“This regime, with all its noise and claims, was nearly crushed under the blows of the Islamic Republic,” Khamenei declared, referring to Israel. “The thought that such strikes could come from Iran had never occurred to them, but it happened.”
He credited Iran’s armed forces for penetrating advanced defense systems and flattening enemy targets, calling it “one of God’s greatest blessings.”
The Supreme Leader reserved particular scorn for Washington, blasting Trump for seeking Iran’s total capitulation. The U.S. President recently said Iran must ‘surrender.’
“This is no longer about uranium enrichment or nuclear programs—it’s about demanding Iran’s complete capitulation,” Khamenei stated.
“Such a demand is ridiculous. A country with Iran’s history, culture, and steely national resolve will never surrender.”
Khamenei revealed details of Iran’s retaliatory strike on al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar, a key U.S. military installation, dismissing American media attempts to downplay the attack.
“Iran’s capability to strike major U.S. targets in the region is no small matter, and it can be repeated if provoked,” he warned.
The address highlighted three key victories: military success against Israel, strategic blows against U.S. forces, and unprecedented national unity. “An extraordinary unity has emerged among Iran’s nearly 90 million people,” Khamenei observed, praising citizens for standing with the armed forces.
The Supreme Leader framed decades of U.S. sanctions and diplomatic pressure as part of a singular objective: “They want nothing short of Iran’s surrender.” He contrasted Iran’s ancient civilization with America’s relative youth, asserting Persian cultural superiority.
