American media commentator Tucker Carlson has made claims regarding a connection between Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency and the targeting of Gulf states.

Carlson stated that “Israel wanted this war to harm the Gulf states, and they have succeeded.”

He added that Saudi Arabia and Qatar had reportedly detained Mossad agents who were allegedly planning to carry out bombings in the two countries the previous night.

Earlier, Tasnim News Agency cited a military source as saying that Israel carried out the attack which targeted Saudi Aramco oil facilities earlier in the day.

According to the source, the attack on the Aramco facilities constituted an example of a “false flag” operation.

The source further claimed that the objective of the operation was to divert the attention of regional states away from what were described as Israeli crimes in targeting non civilian sites inside Iran.

The source stated that Iran had announced, without hesitation, that it would place all American and Israeli interests, facilities and capabilities in the region under fire. A number of such targets have already been struck, according to the claim, but Aramco facilities were not among Iranian targets at that stage.

The same source indicated that intelligence data suggests the port of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates could be one of the next potential targets for Israel within the framework of alleged false flag operations, and that Tel Aviv intends to strike it.
