Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, the former Nigerian Minister of Aviation, expressed his opposition to the Zionist State (Israel) on his verified X account, stating that he can never support them.
In his message, he stated that he was sorry, but regardless of the consequences, he could never bring himself to admire people who referred to themselves as the “master race” and “God’s chosen people.”
He stated in his message that, despite the consequences, he was sorry but could never bring himself to admire a people who called themselves the “master race” and “God’s chosen people.”
He said he could never support a people who, in his view, regarded Christians and Muslims as sub-humans, whose holy book, the Talmud, referred to them as “goyen” (animals), and who claimed that Jesus, whom they deeply revered, was a fraud, a liar, and a scammer, and who, according to their belief, was now boiling and burning in a sea of human waste in hell.
Further talking, he said, “I can never stand by a people who spit on Christians in the street, who kill Muslims at will, who practice apartheid in their nation, who have an ethno-fascist world view, who are unrepentant racists, who have no regard for the sanctity of human life and who have nothing but contempt and disdain for international norms, international law and the international rules based system.”
Femi Fani-Kayode added that the anachronistic concept, erroneous notion, and outdated school of thought that every Christian must stand by and support the State of Israel regardless of the atrocities it may commit now stood discredited and rejected.
He emphasised that Christianity is rooted in love, mutual respect, forgiveness, compassion, kindness, and the expression of understanding, decency, and humanity, not in the deliberate and premeditated extermination or hateful elimination of the Palestinian people.
He explained that the New Testament teaches believers not to “wipe out Amalek” but rather to love their enemies, turn the other cheek, and treat others as they themselves would wish to be treated.
According to him, Christianity does not encourage hatred or the killing of fellow human beings, nor does it justify such violence through a distorted understanding or deceptive interpretation of the sacred scriptures of the Christian faith.
He concluded by stressing that peace, love, and unity are the only path forward, and that this is the true Christian way.
