Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike has announced plans to complete 14 critical road projects across Abuja, allocating significant funds from the proposed N1.78 trillion 2025 FCT budget.

Appearing before joint Senate and House committees on Wednesday, Wike revealed the projects span both the city center and satellite towns, with implementation handled by the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) and Satellite Towns Development Department (STDD).

Key projects include completion of Roads B6 and B12, full development of Arterial Road N20 from Northern Parkway to Outer Northern Expressway (ONEX) and engineering infrastructure for Guzape, Wuye, and Maitama II Districts.

The minister emphasized these projects form part of the administration’s commitment to infrastructure development, with 85% of the capital budget dedicated to completing ongoing initiatives.

Wike’s presentation comes as the FCT Administration prepares to commission multiple completed projects across the territory in coming weeks.
