Muhammad Babandede OFR, OCM, former Controller General of the Nigerian Immigration Service, has reaffirmed his commitment to the ideals of the All Progressives Congress (APC), following his high-impact participation at the party’s National Convention in Abuja.
Babandede was received by a large crowd of supporters upon his arrival at the venue, reflecting strong public confidence and continued admiration for his leadership. The supporters, many from his home base in Jigawa North, expressed their solidarity through coordinated chants, creating one of the most vibrant moments of the convention.
His attendance, seen as a response to the persistent encouragement from his constituents, signals a deepening engagement with the political aspirations of his people and the broader objectives of the APC.
In his remarks to the press, Babandede praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Umar Namadi (Ɗanmoɗi) for their leadership, while also applauding the organizers for delivering what he described as a “world-class convention” that successfully convened governors and party leaders from across Nigeria.
