The Atiku Abubakar Foundation (AAF) has granted comprehensive scholarships to three Nigerian students who triumphed at the 2025 TeenEagle Global finals, reinforcing its commitment to female education and youth development.
Nafisa Abdullahi, Rukaiya Mohammed Fema, and Khadija Kashim Kalli—who distinguished themselves at the prestigious international academic competition—will have their education fully funded from secondary school through university, regardless of their chosen institution.
In its official communication, the foundation stated: “This is more than just a reward for academic achievement. It is a reaffirmation of our belief in the transformative power of education, and a commitment to supporting young Nigerians—especially girls—who are working hard to realise their dreams.”
The initiative aligns with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s longstanding advocacy for educational equity.
“When you invest in the education of a girl child, you are invariably investing in the education of a prospective family and community,” Atiku emphasized.
According to the foundation, the scholarship program continues AAF’s strategic focus on reducing educational disparities, particularly for girls and underprivileged groups. By supporting these academic champions—who brought honor to Nigeria at the global TeenEagle competition—the foundation aims to inspire a new generation of learners while removing financial barriers to quality education.
