Opay Bags Leadership’s Fintech Company of the Year Award

OPay has been awarded the Fintech Company of the Year 2024 by Leadership in a ceremony it organized in Abuja on April 8.

Opay was company recognized at the event for their impact on financial inclusion, innovation, and security, particularly in expanding access for the unbanked and underbanked.

OPay’s CEO, Dauda Gotring, expressed the company’s deep appreciation for the gesture by Leadership.

“We are deeply honored to be recognized as the FinTech Company of the Year. This award is a testament to our vision of creating a secure, inclusive, and innovative financial ecosystem for every Nigerian,” Gotring said.

This recognition underscores OPay’s role as a leader in transforming Nigeria’s digital payment landscape.

Last year, OPay focused on providing secure, user-friendly digital financial services, working with the Central Bank of Nigeria to serve millions.
