The Federal Government has announced a one-week extension for applications to its paramilitary recruitment exercise under the Ministry of Interior.

The application window, previously scheduled to close on Monday, August 4, 2025, will now remain open until Monday, August 11, 2025. In a Sunday statement, Major General Abdulmalik Jibrin (retd), Secretary of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), explained that the extension aims to provide more Nigerians with the opportunity to apply for positions across the paramilitary services.

The Board reaffirmed its commitment to conducting a transparent recruitment process, emphasizing that applications are completely free. All submissions must be made through the official portal: https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng.

Prospective applicants now have additional time to complete their registration before the new deadline.
