Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu (17), Rukayya Muhammad Fema (15), and Hadiza Kashim Kalli brought honor to Nigeria by dominating the international academic contest.

According to a statement by Presidential Spokesperson Bayo Onanuga, Nafisa claimed the overall best prize in English language skills, Rukayya emerged debate champion, while Hadiza secured the outstanding talent gold medal.

“President Tinubu believed that education is a critical element for national development,” Onanuga stated, highlighting the administration’s educational investments including the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) initiative.

The President celebrated the students as proof of Nigeria’s academic potential, stating their success demonstrates the nation’s capacity to produce world-class talent. He particularly commended their schools and home states for fostering such excellence.

Tinubu urged the young achievers to maintain their academic dedication, expressing confidence that “the nation’s future is much brighter with many of its youth as repositories of excellence.”
