Weapons in the possession of Nigeria’s terrorists, like their Middle Eastern counterparts, have been identified by an expert as having their origin from the United States.
This narrative was long revealed by the United State’s Secretary of States, Hillary Clinton who once admitted that the terrorists they are fighting in the Middle East were their own creation.
According to a weapons expert, the weapons that Nigeria’s bandits are using are made by the United States, and are the same types of weapons that are currently used by United States Marine Corps (Mk 153 Mod 0, Mod 2) and Armed Forces of Ukraine (Mk 153 Mod 0).
The weapons are designed primarily to defeat bunkers, buildings, and light armored vehicles, the SMAW uses a variety of warhead types including high-explosive dual mode (HEDM) and high-explosive anti-armor (HEAA) rounds.
The weapons are capable of engaging targets at an effective range of about 500 meters and the SMAW’s rounds can penetrate reinforced concrete, armor, and sandbag structures.
These types of weapons have been used in numerous conflicts, notably by the U.S. in operations such as the Gulf War, Afghanistan, Iraq, and more recently by Ukrainian forces in urban combat settings.
